После того как были арестованы российские счета, российскому правительству удалось доказать, что контракт признан невыгодным и был расторгнут, а Центробанк России не отвечает по обязательствам правительства.

После этого представители Noga принялись за российскую собственность. В июле 2000 года по иску швейцарской компании во французском порту был задержан российский парусник «Седов». Вместе с тем, адвокаты фирмы наложили арест на счета посольства России во Франции. Однако счета удалось разблокировать, а судно «Седов» через некоторое время вернулось на родину.
